Supply Clergy

Congregations seeking supply clergy should consult the Supply Clergy List accessible through the clergy document library for the most up-to-date list of clergy approved to do supply work in our diocese. Please only use clergy from this list to do supply work in your congregation. Note: Only clergy and lay leaders in charge of congregation without clergy can access the clergy document library. 

Congregations are encouraged to use this Supply Priest Information Form when commissioning a supply clergy person for their church. This form ensures clear communication of information and expectations for the supply clergy commissioned to serve. 

If you are a clergy person who is canonically resident and/or licensed to serve in the Episcopal Diocese of the Susquehanna, and your name is not on this list and you would like to do supply work, please contact Nichol Free.

Supply clergy serving congregations in the geographic area corresponding to the former Diocese of Central Pennsylvania should be compensated in accordance with the following schedule approved by the most recent Diocesan Convention.  Mileage is to be reimbursed at the current rate allowed by the Internal Revenue Service.
