Full Communion Sacred Ground: Preview Session
Join Lutherans, Moravians, and others in a Zoom ecumenical Full Communion Sacred Ground, the Episcopal Church’s film- and reading-based dialogue on race and faith. Through the newly revised version of Sacred Ground, participants learn about the history of race in our country and how race continues to shape us today.
With reflection and small dialogue circles, participants connect their learnings to life and faith. There is no fee except an investment of time in doing about two hours worth of preparation between sessions.
There are two Sacred Ground preview sessions on August 17, one at 1:30 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. These sessions offer a chance to learn more before the cohorts begin. There are two cohorts that meet every other Monday at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., starting August 31 and ending February 8, with a break during the month of December. The deadline to register for one of the cohorts is August 24.
