Summit on Food Insecurity: From Understanding to Action
Saint Barnabas Center of Kutztown is hosting a community summit on food insecurity on Saturday, June 20.
The purpose of the event is to help area residents develop greater awareness about the extent of food insecurity within our area and equip participants with tangible steps they can take to help their neighbors.
The summit will feature two panels and be followed by an open fellowship picnic luncheon sponsored by the Saint Barnabas Center and its partners.
8:30 a.m. – Registration opens
9 a.m. – Morning Prayer
10 a.m. – Keynote and programs begin
10:30 a.m. – First Panel and Q&A
Noon – Second Panel and Q&A
1 p.m. – Closing Remarks
1:15-4 p.m. – Community Picnic and Resource Fair
There is no need to register in advance. Simply show up on the day of the summit to participate.
