This year, each bishop will spend three days in residence in each of the four regions of the diocese. The Canon Missioner for that region will coordinate these visits, planning time for the bishop to worship and fellowship with the members of this region.
Bishop Scanlan will preside over a Service of Confirmation, Reaffirmation, and Reception.
Are you a parish admin who has questions or wants to learn more? If so, please join our newly formed group, Parish Admin Exchange or PAX. Maybe you are new or have been in your job for a long time. This group, led by Nichol Free, Bishop Scanlan’s executive assistant, will meet once a month on Zoom to discuss a variety of topics that will assist you in your everyday work, such as Bishop Visitations, Supply Clergy, Sunday Bulletins and Records Retention. Some weeks, we’ll also have guest speakers, including the bishops and diocesan canons, and we’ll allow time for Q&A.
