We rejoice that all of God’s children have a home in The Episcopal Church and that our congregations are safe havens in a world that does not always recognize the gifts and dignity of our LGBTQ+ siblings. This month we gather to celebrate the gifts, strength, and witness of our LGBTQ+ parishioners. Pride Month Bible Study
Thursdays at 7 p.m. in June, via Zoom
Join the LGBTQ+ Ministry Team on Thursdays at 7 p.m. throughout the month of June for a time of Scripture, reflection, conversation, and community. This Bible study will use A Queer Lectionary, a resource that provides inclusive readings of the Revised Common Lectionary. Father Joe Sudano, priest-in-charge of Grace, Honesdale, and St. James & St. George, Jermyn, will lead the study. All are welcome, join for one night or all.
Attend a Pride Event in Your Area
Whether attending individually, or joining as a congregation, attending a Pride event is one way to be a witness of God’s love and inclusion. The LGBTQ+ Ministry Team has curated a list of Pride events throughout the Diocese of the Susquehanna.
