The Evangelism Committee of the Diocese of the Susquehanna is delighted to present Season 2 of “Good News on the Ground,” a podcast exploring real-world evangelism through everyday life. This season takes a deep dive into an exciting topic: the Invite-Welcome-Connect framework, a holistic model that helps faith communities shift from a maintenance culture to a mission-driven culture rooted in the gospel. Guided by the imperative to “Go and make disciples of all nations,” Invite-Welcome-Connect equips and empowers individuals and congregations to practice evangelism, hospitality, and connectedness.
Sarah Reid and the Rev. Lisa Work will discuss insights and ideas they are exploring in the Invite-Welcome-Connect Fall Cohort that began August 12 and will run through October 7. This season, it’s all about what evangelism can look like as an ongoing spiritual practice in your congregation — not a program, but a way of living and noticing together.
