The Stevenson School for Ministry — which provides theological education, training, and spiritual formation for lay ministers and clergy, as well as continuing education for all — has a new logo and a new look. “After the reunification of the dioceses of Bethlehem and Central Pennsylvania into the new Episcopal Diocese of the Susquehanna, it became clear that we needed branding to reflect our home in the newly reunified diocese,” said the Rev. Dr. Luke Zerra, interim dean of the school. “Our previous logo reflected our home within the legacy Diocese of Central Pennsylvania and was visually aligned with the legacy diocesan branding.”

This past spring and summer, Stevenson worked with Beloved Media, the creative team who helped develop the Diocese of the Susquehanna logo and branding. Beloved Media helped create a logo that aligned with the visual identity of the Diocese of the Susquehanna while capturing the Stevenson School’s unique role within the diocese and wider church.

The new logo features a Celtic cross within a Bethlehem star. The Celtic cross reflects Stevenson’s origins in the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania and offers a visual nod to its previous logo, while the Bethlehem star references the legacy Diocese of Bethlehem logo.

The new logo, along with new colors and fonts, will be visible across the Stevenson website and on its social media and newsletters.

“We are grateful to the team at Beloved Media and to Erin Kamran, our canon for communications, for helping us with this rebranding,” said Zerra. “The new logo maintains a connection to our previous identity, while marking a new chapter in the life of the school within our new combined diocese.”
